At Halstrom High SchoolŪ, the cornerstone of our educational services is the concept of personalized teaching.  The Halstrom “1:1 Difference™" is radically unlike the traditional high school classroom environment. 

By teaming up an individual student with an individual teacher, the student’s learning rate can reach over 95% (Dr. Benjamin Bloom/University of Chicago study).  Halstrom High SchoolŪ teachers work one-on-one with a student, assessing the student’s knowledge, teaching, providing guided practice, and creating personalized assignments for that particular student. 

When combined with the Mastery Learning, the “1:1 Difference™" means a student will not advance until learning occurs.  This formula ensures that every student can succeed, no matter their previous educational background.  And unlike after-school tutoring services, Halstrom High SchoolŪ students earn accredited high school credits, meet graduation requirements, and, ultimately, graduate from Halstrom High SchoolŪ.

Each Halstrom student is intimately involved in their education.  With more input in their learning opportunities, students become more invested and experience success at a much greater rate.
